Structural Engineer | Senior Structural Engineer
Tired of juggling towers? Join a top-tier consultancy on landmark intermodal projects. Diverse sectors, profit share, hybrid work.
- Diverse buildings portfolio including landmark transport terminal
- New role in established high-performing team — not filling another's shoes
- Employee-owned business with profit share, hybrid work + career path you shape
Your next chapter isn’t another tower.
You’ve spent the better part of a decade — maybe more — delivering high-quality building structures work. You’re good at it. But somewhere between the residential towers and the commercial podiums, the projects started to blur. You’re juggling five things at once, your timesheet is a puzzle, and the work/life balance you were promised feels like a distant memory.
This is a different conversation.
About the Business
This is a proudly employee-owned, multi-disciplinary consultancy that has been a fixture in the Brisbane market since the 2000s. Large enough to sit at the table with the biggest names in infrastructure and development — relaxed enough that you’ll actually know the people you’re working with. They don’t put people in boxes. They build careers around curiosity, capability, and the kind of work you actually want to do.
Their buildings team delivers comprehensive structural design services across commercial, education, healthcare, and residential sectors, alongside private asset owners, contractors, and state government agencies. The breadth is real, and so is the quality.
The Opportunity
This is a new position added to an established, high-performing buildings team — you’re not filling someone else’s shoes.
The Brisbane office is gearing up for several significant intermodal and transport terminal projects. These are long-duration, complex structures — the kind where you can follow a project from concept through to delivery and actually see your work through. Not the kind where you’re constantly context-switching between competing deadlines. Easy to fill in your timesheet. Easier to switch off at the end of the day.
You’ll be doing hands-on design and job management work, with support from senior Principals both on projects and toward your professional development. For those who want more than technical excellence alone, there’s genuine mentoring available in client development, tendering, and growing junior staff.
