Our client is a highly respected, employee-owned engineering consultancy delivering some of the region’s most significant building projects — major sporting facilities, entertainment venues, and community precincts that will help shape the Coast for decades to come. With a strong pipeline already secured, they are seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to play a key role in their continued growth.

The Role
You will take ownership of structural design and project delivery across major building developments including sporting facilities, public buildings, education, and commercial projects.

This is not a role where you’re expected to chase work. The projects and client relationships are already in place. Your focus will be on technical delivery, project leadership, and mentoring others within a collaborative, high-performing team.

You’ll be trusted to manage projects properly — with autonomy, support, and respect for your experience.

About You
This role will suit an experienced structural engineer who is confident leading projects and enjoys working closely with clients and project teams to deliver quality outcomes.
You will likely have:

• 10+ years’ experience in structural design of building projects
• Strong technical capability in reinforced concrete and structural steel design
• Experience delivering medium to large-scale building projects
• Confidence managing projects and coordinating with clients and contractors
• Interest in mentoring and supporting junior engineers
• A genuine connection to the Sunshine Coast, or a desire to build a long-term future here

You may currently be operating at Senior level and ready to step into a Principal role, or already working at Principal level and looking for a better long-term environment.
