Our client is a well-established building services consultancy with a strong pipeline of high-profile work across Brisbane, including ongoing involvement in major stadium infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a small, experienced team where you’ll be trusted to pick up projects and run with them.

The role

This is not a layered team where work gets diluted.

You’ll be the person who:

• Picks up a project and delivers it end-to-end
• Leads electrical building services design across all stages
• Works closely with clients and project teams
• Reviews work and contribute to overall team capability
• Balances technical delivery with practical outcomes

It’s a hands-on, doer role with real responsibility.

What we are looking for

Someone very specific.
Think:

• Bachelor Degree Electrical
• 7–10+ years experience Building Services
• Technically strong, but also practical
• Can work independently and get things done
• Comfortable running jobs without heavy oversight
• Solid across building services design (not just one niche)

Essentials

• RPEQ (or eligible)
• Applied knowledge of Australian standards and codes
• Experience across full project lifecycle

Nice to have:

• CPEng / NER
• Exposure to infrastructure or public realm projects

The team
This is where it gets interesting.

• 3 long-term senior engineers (10+ years each)
• 1 developing engineer (~4 years)
• They don’t need another manager

They need someone in the middle who can:

• Take pressure off the seniors
• Mentor the junior
• Deliver projects independently
