You will be joining one of the most established consultancies in the development sector; privately owned by 5 Directors, who all work hands-on, completely accessible to, and part of, the team.
It's quality - in engineering approach, design solution and final product - that has allowed this well established business to thrive for so long. Financial turnover is at record highs, and their future is even brighter with a new generation of management ensuring they 'stay current' and at the top of their game.
To do this, a new position exists for an experienced Civil Drafter to take a crucial role in ensuring quality of documentation - 'their final product' for their Brisbane team.
The Role - Senior Civil Drafter
You with work as Second-in-Charge to the lead Drafter, where you will assist with project delivery across the office. With nothing off-shored, in addition to running your own projects, you will assist with team mentoring and resourcing – and grow to take over the lead role.
This is a career drafting position; and will not suit a drafter looking to expand into design. If documentation, systems and cad management in the long term are what you want, this is for you.
Skills/Experience Required:
- Relevant civil engineering/cad qualifications
- 7 years+ experience in civil drafting for civil urban infrastructure/land development projects; prior experience within south east Queensland projects is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail - quality focus
- Major project base; consistently growing
- Well established team, systems and client base
- Input within an open management team + encouragement for continued systems development
