Sunshine Coast | Beachside Office | Unlimited Career Potential
If you’re a Civil Engineer who’s serious about getting ahead — not sitting in the background waiting your turn — this is the kind of opportunity that can define your career.
This isn’t a replacement role. It exists because the business is growing, expanding geographically, and investing in the next generation of leaders.
They’ve opened a new Sunshine Coast office overlooking the beach, and they’re looking for someone ambitious enough to step up and help shape it.
You’ll work directly with a Director. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility. And you’ll be given the platform to build your reputation on some of the most significant master-planned community projects in South East Queensland.
This is where careers accelerate.
Why this role stands out
This privately owned consultancy has been shaping South East Queensland for over 50 years. They’re known by developers for quality, not price — and that reputation has earned them long-term partnerships with some of Australia’s most respected names in property.
What makes them different is how they develop their people.
Directors remain hands-on and accessible. You won’t be buried in layers of hierarchy. You’ll learn directly from industry veterans, while being given the autonomy and trust to take ownership of your own projects and relationships.
With new leadership driving growth and a newly established Sunshine Coast presence, there is genuine opportunity here to step forward — not wait in line.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day
This is a hybrid technical and project coordination role, ideal for an intermediate engineer ready to step into a more influential position.
You’ll be:
- Working directly with a Director on major master-planned community projects
- Liaising with councils, developers, and key stakeholders
- Preparing applications, coordinating approvals, and progressing designs
- Input into design of civil infrastructure using established best-practice methodologies
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, including an undergraduate engineer
- Gaining exposure to the commercial, technical, and client-facing side of development
The kind of engineer who thrives here
This role suits someone who is motivated, capable, and ready to take ownership of their future.
You might be 4–8 years into your career and starting to ask bigger questions:
- How do I get closer to decision-making?
- How do I build real influence, not just technical skill?
- How do I accelerate my path toward senior leadership?
You’re comfortable communicating with clients and councils, and you take pride in delivering quality work.
What you’ll gain
- Direct mentorship from highly respected industry leaders
- Exposure to landmark master-planned community projects
- Genuine career progression in a growing office environment
- A visible, valued role — not just another number in a large team
- A supportive culture focused on quality, learning, and long-term success (and reward with profits shared)
- A beachside Sunshine Coast office and excellent working environment
If you’re ambitious, capable, and ready to step forward — this is your opportunity to make your mark.
