RecruitR Directors announced as finalists in 2008 QBR Women in Business Awards

BRISBANE, 22 July, 2008: RecruitR directors, Mahlah Ludekens and Simone Moore, have been honoured as finalists of the 2008 Queensland Business Review's Women in Business Awards in recognition of their achievements in the Professional Services category.

This is the first nomination Mahlah and Simone have received for the Women in Business awards, which recognise high-achieving businesswomen from across Queensland who have made a significant contribution towards the success of their business.

Simone said, "Considering RecruitR is less than two years old Mahlah and I were both surprised and delighted to be nominated as finalists by the judging panel.

"We are extremely honoured to have been selected and very proud to be able to represent RecruitR as one of the leading recruitment firms in Queensland," she said.

Mahlah added, "We'd love to win, but considering this is our first nomination, we are honoured to be selected as one of the top three in Queensland, first time round,"

"Both Simone and I would like to thank all the clients and candidates who have supported us over the past year and a half, and our fantastic team without whom, RecruitR could not have become the success it is today."

Mahlah and Simone will be presented with the other finalists at the Gala Awards Dinner at Hillstone St Lucia on August 7, where the winners of each category, and the Queensland Businesswoman of the Year award will be announced.
