Simone Moore

Graduating with a Bachelor of Human Resources with Distinction from the Queensland University of Technology in 1996, Simone initially worked as a HR Officer for three years with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and the Australian Bureau of Statistics before finding her true passion working in the recruitment sector.

As a Director and Co-founder of RecruitR, Simone's leadership style is very much lead by example, working at the frontline of the business with her staff, interviewing candidates, meeting with clients and following through on the entire recruitment process.

RecruitR employees know and appreciate that Simone's advice and mentorship is based on her personal experiences as a recruiter - someone who has faced the same challenges in their own career. For this reason, Simone is very passionate about instilling in her staff the same level of enthusiasm, determination and drive that she herself demonstrates in every aspect of her life that has seen her enjoy considerable professional success.

Simone takes great pride in watching RecruitR staff adjust to the unique RecruitR methodology she helped create. Because the RecruitR methodology is so unlike what many large recruitment agencies advocate, Simone's motivation to mentor her staff has been shaped by her personal passion for and belief in the RecruitR method. It was this passion that also gave her the confidence to leave a high-paying job with a multinational recruitment firm to risk starting her own recruitment firm based on a philosophy that defied industry norms.
